Eligibility for IFHP coverage

Please note that clients eligible for Immigration Medical Examination (IME) coverage under the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) are required to provide one of the following documents when seeking services from registered IFHP service providers, along with appropriate ID:

  1. Acknowledgement of Claim and Notice to Return for Interview (AOC) – IMM 5985
  2. Refugee Protection Claimant Document (RPCD) – IMM 1442
  3. The Interim Federal Health Certificate (IFHC) – IMM 5695

Service providers must verify the client’s eligibility with one of the documents (listed above) before they render services.
